SENraise Fees

Because we remain committed to flexible pricing structures, sometimes, in consultation with the family (and taking their circumstances into account), our advocate may charge an hourly rate; alternatively, we may also offer fixed fees for specific services such as the initial consultation or a written response to a draft EHCP.

Factors impacting cost:

We consider the complexity of the case, the need for additional assessments, travel costs to attend meetings, and potential tribunal fees. These can all contribute to the overall cost.

However, our goal, and our primary concern, is to support you, and we will always factor in individual circumstances into our pricing structure.

Please do get in touch with us for further information.

EHCP advocacy costs

Variable Pricing

Costs can vary significantly based on the level of service needed and the geographic location. Please see examples below:

Example 1: A parent needed support in getting their child’ s school to comply with the EHCP requirements. She had an initial, 60 minute consultation via Zoom with a SENraise advocate and it was determined that the EHCP would be analysed and the school’s basic responsibilities were not being met. The parent was given a full, written analysis, and report with recommendations to go back to the school for action. Total cost breakdown was as follows:

  • * EHCP analysis £75

  • * Written report £250

  • * Total cost: £325 plus VAT

Example 2: A parent had gone back to the school/LA with complaints that their child’s EHCP requirements were consistently not being met and that the school/LA were still not complying with their legal responsibilities.

A SENRAISE advocate was able to contact the school/LA and set up an initial meeting to challenge the lack of compliance, and the school admitted it could not meet needs.

This opened the way for the child to be offered a new placement opportunity with a specialist provider. A follow-up meeting was arranged with the parent to check on further support – extra guidance was provided to ensure the new placement was supportive of the student and family.

  • * Arranging review meeting with school/LA and attending meeting via Zoom (in person travel/accommodation would be taken into account): up to £325

  • * Follow-up consultation and possible further action advice: Up to £250

Triple P Parenting

The cost of private practitioner support for the Triple P parenting program can vary depending on the practitioner, location, and package chosen.

Fees generally fall within the range of £50 - £100 per session.

Key points to consider:

  • * Individual vs. Group sessions: Individual sessions with a practitioner are typically more expensive than attending group Triple P courses, which might be offered at a lower cost through local services.

  • * Level of support: The cost can fluctuate based on the level of support required, such as intensive individual consultations versus more general guidance.

  • * Provider qualifications: Our practitioner has specialised training and much experience in Triple P. Therefore, the support you receive will be consistent, professional and empathetic. Please see the example of charges below:

A family was struggling to communicate with their child who was disengaging at school and home. The costs were as follows

  • * Initial 60 minute phone or Zoom consultation – Free

  • * Initial action plan and full meeting with family - £ 110

  • * A 10 week hourly session with a trained family practitioner (minimum offer is 5) with a plan of support and guidance - £80 per session (£700 per 10 sessions pre-booked)
